What we believe

• The Orthotics staff members have been professional and caring despite the circumstances they have to work in
• The Orthotics service has been chronically underfunded for a long period of time
• The poor investment in the Orthotics service increases NHS costs elsewhere
• The long wait for Orthotics devices causes patients unnecessary distress, suffering, discomfort and pain. It also affects their ability to perform at their best.
• Orthotics delays undermine the work of other professionals eg Orthopaedic Surgeons, Paediatricians, Physios.
• The people of North Staffordshire deserve a better Orthotics service than they currently have.
