Writing to your local MP

The North Staffs Orthotics Campaign has asked the Parliamentary Health Select Committee to carry out a work stream into NHS Orthotics provision in England. We now need to get the support of our local MPs to give a voice to this request and make representations to the Health Select Committee on our behalf.

It would make a huge difference if you could contact your local MP to ask them to make a representation.

Who is your MP?

Find out by entering your postcode at the "They Work for You" web site.

How to contact them?

Either write to them at:

House of Commons,
Westminster,
London,
SW1A 0AA

North Staffs / Stoke residents can email them at the following addresses:

Joan Walley walleyj@parliament.uk
Karen Bradley karen.bradley.mp@parliament.uk
Paul Farelly farrellyp@parliament.uk
Rob Flello flellor@parliament.uk
Tristram Hunt hunt4stoke@gmail.com

If you are from outside the area you can find your local MP's email address using an internet search engine.

What to ask for?

Tell them a bit about yourself or the person you care for who uses the Orthotics service. Tell them about the problems you have had getting devices. Then ask if they will support the request made by the North Staffs Orthotics Campaign for the Parliamentary Health Select Committee to carry out a work stream into NHS Orthotics provision in England.
